The Eurail Pass is available only
to people permanently resident (i.e.
for at least during the 6 months
preceding the pass validity) outside
Europe, the Russian Federation,
Turkey, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.
The Eurail Pass offers unlimited
rail travel for various periods
from ten days up to three months
over the national railways, and
some private railways, of Austria
(OBB), Belgium (SNCB), Denmark (DSB),
Finland (VR), France (SNCF), Germany
(DB), Greece (CH), Hungary (MAV),
Italy (FS), Luxembourg (CFL), Netherlands
(NS), Norway (NSB), Portugal (CP),
Republic of Ireland (CIE), Spain
(RENFE), Sweden (SJ) and Switzerland
(CFF/SBB) as well as certain shipping
lines. |

| Eurail Pass holders are normally
exempt from fast and quality trains
supplements, however when the supplement
includes additional onboard services,
pass holders are required to pay
a charge. |

| The Eurail Pass can also be issued
as a Flexipass or Saverpass, same
conditions & rules apply. |

| Eurail passes are available for
Adults, Children (4 - 11 years old)
and Young Persons (12 - 25 years
old). |

| The Eurail Pass is issued in 1st
Class, however the Eurail Pass Youth
is issued in 2nd class only and
travel in 1st class is only permitted
upon payment of the full difference
between the ordinary fares for the
journey undertaken. |

| To qualify for an Eurail Pass
Youth the holder must be under 26
years of age at the start of validity
of the pass. |
| |
| Children aged 4-11 inclusive travel
at 50% of the adult rate, and children
under 4 years travel free of charge.

| The Eurail Pass is strictly personal
and non-transferable. |
| |
| A valid passport must be held
and shown to ticket inspectors when
required. |
| |
| Tampering with or altering the
pass, as well as use by a person
other than the one for whom it was
issued invalidates it, and a large
fine will be levied by train personnel.

| A pass does not guarantee a seat
on a train or a space on a ship
unless a reservation is secured
in advance. Please be aware that
for certain trains and boats a reservation
may be compulsory. |
| |
| The pass is valid from midnight
to midnight during the period indicated
on it. A Flexipass entitles its
holder to a certain amount of days
of travel during the specified period
of validity. An Eurail Flexipass
traveller must enter the date into
the corresponding boxes before boarding
the train. If an overnight direct
journey starts after 7pm, and you
are holding a Flexipass, the next
day's date should be entered. |

| Passes are not refundable if lost
or stolen, if partially used or
if submitted for refund after the
first day of validity or after one
year from the date of issue. |

| In all other cases, refund applications
must be submitted to RailChoice
with all the appropriate documents.
The refund amount is subject to
a deduction of 15% as cancellation
& admnistration charges. |
